Horsemanship & Gymkhana

Non-Members and Members Welcome!

Gates open at 7:45am
Classes start at 9:00am

Horsemanship consist of 3 classes:
Alternating between Ranch Rail, Equitation, Showmanship and Patterns. A mix of walk, Jog and Lope, you ride at your level. English or Western Tack.

We have qualified judges for these classes.

Gymkhana will start at 12:30pm (approx.)

Consist of 3 games:
Alternating with Barrels, T-bar, Poles and many more!
Patterns will be posted on the website and Facebook/Socials 1 week prior to the event.

IHC Membership Division: All divisions can do the Ground work. Youth, Junior, Adult and Select can do mounted portion, horse must be experienced with ropes and handler must be confident. If this is not the case you may be asked to sit a portion out.

Payment: Please submit payment after you sign up for it helps us keep the bookkeeping tidy! We prefer E-transfer but Cash can be given if necessary. Please contact the club if you need to pay Cash. Please pay no later then August 15 2026

Clinic Options -Choose one: If you sign up for mounted you come for the ground work portion as well. All participants start at 5pm sharp!

Gates will open at 4pm for warm up. Please be ready to start clinic at 5pm sharp (Groundwork).

Ground Work: 5pm - 6pm $50.00
Mounted: 6pm to 8pm $150.00

All participants start at 5pm for the ground work portion. All divisions can do ground work, Youth to Select can do Mounted. MUST have a horse that is desensitised to ropes and a confident rider, if you do not you may be asked to sit a portion of the clinic out.

Please make sure payments are in no later then August 15, 2026. If you have signed up and not paid by then, you will not have a spot, unless you have contacted the club.

Cody askes that you work with your horses before hand, you are welcome to reach out to him to ask for some ideas on how to do this.

The 100 days 100 Hours has started with 20 participants!

These members will be brushing, walking, riding and just spending time with their horse, while logging that time for fun prizes.

Thanks to our sponsors the IHC was able to reduce the Late Registration fee to $30.00 per member.

If you would like to participate you can still sign up!

Hours from date of sign up are counted.
